Current net zero carbon (NZC) building policies vary significantly globally.  Though the goals are the same (dramatically reduce GHG emissions from buildings) - there are many definitions, policy frameworks, enforcement strategies and success rates.  The goal of the policy toolkit is to give policy makers and those interested in improving policies the tools to transform the building sector into a net carbon zero entity. 

The goal of NZC Building is to focus on the greatest opportunities to drawdown GHG emissions first.  These include frameworks set by research done by Project Drawdown and others.
